GRID customization lets you define the trading range, spacing, investment, and risk filters yourself — or start from an AI Preset and then switch to Customize parameters.
Step 1: Main settings
- Asset — e.g. a liquid FX pair or metal
- Investment — total capital allocated to the bot
- AI Preset — Conservative (wider spacing, fewer trades), Optimal (balanced), Aggressive (tighter spacing, more activity)
Step 2: Grid settings
- High price — upper bound; the bot should not open above this envelope
- Low price — lower bound of the grid
- Grid step / spacing — distance between levels (tie to recent volatility)
- Levels / order size — how dense the book is and how large each fill is
A range that is too narrow hits limits quickly; a range that is too wide may trade rarely. Trends against a dense grid are the main failure mode.
Step 3: Trading filters
Upper and lower stop prices (or equivalent filters) can halt and close the strategy if price breaks your envelope. Check the in-app margin estimate before launch.
Step 4: Check the result
Review the summary, start the bot, and monitor from My Robots. Stop anytime from Options. Demo first if you are learning grid spacing.
